Calling all young musicians! The Almaden Youth Musicians (AYM) are now holding auditions for strings (violin, viola, and cello), winds, and piano players. If you’re in 6th to 12th grade and have a passion for classical music, we encourage you to audition and join our group.

Auditions are open year-round. To audition, please fill out the application form below and send your performance video along with a $30 application fee to almadenyouth@gmail.com. One movement of concerto or sonata pieces would be fine. Students who pass the video screening will be contacted by the conductor. Those who pass the first round of video screening will have an interview with the conductor, along with a sight-reading test, and then receive the final acceptance decision.
